2029 marks the 75th Anniversary of the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science (IRAS).
For seventy-five years, IRAS has brought together scientists, scholars, philosophers, theologians, and thoughtful seekers to explore one of humanity's most enduring questions: How do science and our deepest values shape our understanding of ourselves and the universe?
​Since 1954, IRAS has fostered rigorous dialogue, intellectual curiosity, and a welcoming community where diverse perspectives meet with respect and openness. As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the vision of our founders, the contributions of generations of members, and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
